Midland SC Youth Team Success at GP14 Inland Championships at Blithfield SC

Held over the recent breezy weekend of 8th and 9th October with a quality field of 41 boats. Midland Sailing club was represented by two boats, Chris Winters and Julian Forde in 13843 (Club boat), and Iain Leiper and Matt Smith in 13789 (Douglas Bridger’s boat).

On the 24th October, the juniors held a car wash to raise some funds towards maintenance and purchase of equipment.

Success at Southport 12 Hour Race

Midland Sailing Club Youth Team achieve an excellent set of results in the Southport Junior 12 Hour Race in June.

RYA Youth training session great success

Visiting RYA Coach Tom Davenport took MSC youth and junior sailors through their paces on Saturday 12th February 2011. With an excellent turn out of 14 boats, sunshine and a favorable wind everyone had a great time on and off the water.
