Other Classes
In addition to the 4 main fleets, several other classes are sailed at Midland Sailing Club. We welcome any monohull dinghy with a Portsmouth Yardstick of between 982 and 1155. The Club’s policy of running all our races on a pursuit basis (with slower boats starting earlier) gives every class of boat the opportunity to compete with the others.

A very competive fleet with some crews competing at the highest level. Spinnaker and lots of strings to play with.

Popular two person boat with several teams at the Club.

Popular two person boat, with spinnaker with several teams at the Club.

- the Club owns 4, which are used for training youngsters.

- the Club owns 6 of these, which are used primarily for training. They may also be hired by competent sailors for racing, or practice.
- the Club owns 3 Fevas, which are used for training, and may be hired by competent sailors for racing, or practice. There are a further 2 Fevas owned by Club members, which are raced regularly.

- a popular small dinghy for two people. Instantly recognisable by its red sails. We have one at the Club at present.

The Solo fleet at MSc has now grown to 8 providing more competition and fun. Come and join MSC's fastest growing fleet, with brand new boats, with a super midland region circuit for those keen on Open Meetings. All skill levels welcome! This single-hander is well suited to our sailing water, and gives the opportunity for the sailor without a regular crew to race competitively in our pursuit racing.
