RYA training session Sat 12th Feb 2011

Visiting RYA Coach Tom Davenport took MSC youth and junior sailors through their paces on Saturday. With an excellent turn out of 14 boats, sunshine and a favorable wind everyone had a great time on and off the water. Thanks Tom for giving us your time and enthusiasm and to all the MSC volunteers who helped make this session so successful.

Southport Junior 12 Hour Race 2010

Here is a brief photographic record of the 12 hour race. The whole team deserve a big WELL DONE for their excellent work, effort and obvious enthusiasm for this event. 10th overall and 4th in class was a great result. Thanks goes to Dickie for his excellent guidance and encouragement of the team throughout the day. Top 6 finish next time?

Southport Junior 12 Hour Race 2011

Excellent sailing and an excellent result. Midland Sailing Club Youth Team achieve a well deserved 5th overall, 1st under 18 team and 3rd GP14 boat in the 12 hour race. Congratulations to Chris, Julian, Iain, Alex, Matt, Helena and Jonathan.
