RYA Safetyboat Course - Friday 9th to Sunday 11th July 2010
Provides skills required when acting as safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes and for racing or training activities. When the going gets tough with boats on a lee shore, on the dam, inverted or needing a tow, these are the skills you need to have.

Friday 9th (evening), Saturday 10th (morning), Sunday 11th (all day).
(Alternative course Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th August (all day)
Cost: Adult members £50, Juniors and Student members £35 in full time education (minimum age 12 years)
You will be provided with a copy of the RYA G16 'Safety Handbook'. It is assumed that you already have a G20 'Powerboat logbook'. If not this can be purchased for £4.95.
A Safetyboat certificate will be issued on satisfactory completetion of the course.
